On January 15, 2012, 400 people came out to Support Our Shollenberger (SOS). The path was packed with grownups, kids, dogs and bicyclists in a critical mass ride. Our normally quiet river was the scene of a poetry reading and chanting in support of saving our park and our rowing environment. The North Bay Rowing Club supports the aims of Friends of Shollenberger Park on health and safety grounds regarding the Dutra Asphalt Plant planned for Haystack Landing.
