When is the next Adult Learn-to-Row class?
NBRC will be hosting 3 summer sessions!
June: Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th, 2017, from 9 am-12:30 pm each day.
July: Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd, 2017, from 9 am-12:30 pm each day.
August: Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th, 2017, from 9 am-12:30 pm each day.

How do I sign-up for this class?
How long is a Learn-To-Row class?
LTR classes are taught over two days with 3½ hours of instruction each day.
How many students are in a LTR class?
Typically there are 15 students in each class.
What kinds of boats do you use for LTR classes?
We use 8-person sweep rowing shells.
What happens after the LTR class is over?
Graduates of this class can then join our Novice practices, which meets 3 times a week, or get further instruction in sculling through group or individual lessons.
What’s the instructor-to-student ratio in sculling lessons?
One-to-one; If there is interest from the LTR graduates, we can arrange a weekend sculling clinic with two hours of instruction each day, beginning in the four-person sculling boat, known as a quadruple scull, or “quad”, and graduating to doubles and singles.
