The North Bay Rowing Club will participate in this year's Butter and Eggs Day Parade. Look for details here and in your inbox!
In 2009 we emphasized the human-powered aspect of rowing, carrying our de-rigged Red Rocket (4+) along the parade route, accompanied by Abigail Smythe on a Row-Bike.
Get ready to participate again in this exciting local event. It's a great way to get involved with the club and the community.
North Bay Rowing Club will join the other human-powered craft clubs in 2010's Day on The River, an annual drop-in event designed to introduce members of the community to leisure activities and sports that are enjoyed year-round on the Petaluma River.
From 9 am until 3 pm, NBRC members will demonstrate rowing on the ergometers and dock boxes, and invite community members into sweep boats to enjoy short rows from our dock at the end of 2nd Street.
NBRC is proud to announce that the Wine Country Rowing Classic, which began as a small, informal regatta followed by a pot-luck, has grown into an important regional regatta in just five years.
And because the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) has decided to hold its conference every three years, we expect a strong collegiate showing this year, in addition to our masters and juniors events.
