The course will begin just south of the D Street Bridge and end at Heart Throb's stern, moored at the Foundry Wharf dock. In round-robin style, the winner of the first race will race the winner of the following race, and on until most rowers have raced one another, or thereabouts. The aim is to foster camaraderie, competition and a fine workout, followed by brunch. Special recognition will be given to those singing "(Looking for) The Heart of Saturday Night," Tom Waits as they cross the finish line, preferably in first place.

Please arrive by 8:45, to launch by 9, with something edible to share at the potluck brunch. If the forecast is unsettling, the schedule will be moved up by an hour.
