An open call to all NBRC members wishing to partake in the second Grab Bag Regatta:

The course will be shortened to 500m, closer to HQ and offer multiple races for all. The new 500m course starts downriver from the D Street Bridge, near the end of the barges and finishes at the Foundry Wharf viewing dock, which allows spectators to view the racing in a respectable, reclined manner.

To accelerate boatings, please RSVP no later than Wednesday, 20 May. Amy and Abigail will compile line-ups beforehand which will allow racers to launch, warm-up and begin racing (duels, self-directed floating starts, no timing, round-robin style) before the cows come home.

Awards will be given to those crossing the finish line first, while singing "The Rooster Moans", Iron & Wine.

Arrive by 8:45am and bring something for the post-race brunch.
