North Bay Rowing Club has the latest in hull protection technology: “nut helmets”! Created with halved tennis balls paired with bungie cords, these cute little guys protect the hulls of boats below when being de- and re-racked. Check them out next time you’re at the boatyard, and use them lovingly; they’re quite a lot of work to make.

In less than 20 days, North Bay Rowing Club will welcome hundreds of athletes to the course of the Wine Country Rowing Classic, where Juniors (including NBRC’s), Collegiate (including SSU’s) and Masters (including NBRC Novices’) crews will launch and land at the Petaluma Marina.
As you can imagine, it takes a lot of human power and time and organization to pull off a nicely done regatta. NBRC members and friends, sign up today to help! NBRC members count this as their single mandatory work day, outside of all other obligations to the club. All hands on deck!
